South Africa Fellowship

Get to Know

Welcome
The MCZ South Africa Fellowship brings together Zimbabwean Methodists across South Africa in Spirit-led worship, faithful service, and deep community care. We are a national network of societies and ministries committed to growing disciples, serving neighbours, and supporting the work of the Church back home.

✝️ Foreword

This fellowship page is curated by the National Executive and reflects the work of national leaders, stewards, and ministry teams serving the Fellowship across provinces. We give thanks for God’s faithfulness and for everyone who serves in leadership and the local societies.

🎯 Vision & Mission

Vision: A dynamic network of faith-filled Zimbabweans shining Christ’s light throughout South Africa.

Mission:

  • Worship: Spirit-filled services and prayer that draw us closer to God.

  • Community: Genuine fellowship, small groups and mentoring that strengthen lives.

  • Outreach: Practical care and social-responsibility work (relief, pastoral visits, partner projects like Matthew Rusike).

We’d love to hear from you — your journey starts here.

Join our services, connect with fellowship groups, or lend a hand in ministry.

Whether you're new in the region or searching for a faith home, we invite you to be part of our growing family. Together, we worship, serve, and grow in Christ.

✝️ Who We Are

We are Zimbabwean Methodists united under the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe (MCZ) Diaspora — a faith family that carries Zimbabwean worship, culture, and compassion into communities across South Africa. Grounded in Habakkuk 3:17-18, we place prayer and Scripture at the centre of everything we do.

  • Our Identity: A national network of societies and ministries serving students, professionals, families and seniors across provinces.

  • Our Practice: We worship in Shona and English, run small groups and Bible classes, nurture youth and children’s ministries, and respond quickly to community needs through relief and pastoral care.
